Bayonetta PS3 doubles Xbox 360 sales in Japan

Although the PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta is a bit inferior in comparison to its Xbox 360 counterpart (see Famitsu scores), sales for the PS3 version have more than doubled that of the Xbox 360 version in Japan.
The PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta sold 93,000 copies, whilst the Xbox 360 version sold only 45,000. Not surprising, considering Japan is more prone to technology made in their country to begin with.

Any game that comes out on both systems is more or less going to sell better on the ps3 than 360 in japan.
Good for Sony. They managed to miss the perfect score, the idea that this version is inferior has been in the news for weeks and yet they manage to outperform the 360 where it counts most: at the cash register.
