Axel & Pixel, Sam & Max hit Xbox LIVE Arcade

Xbox LIVE Arcade adds another two to its library this week with the releases of Axel & Pixel and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space.

Axel & Pixel is the first game released by 2K Play, 2K Games‘ downloadable games branch. Axel is a painter trapped in a beautiful dream world of his own creation. He and his dog Pixel must solve the mystery of the landscapes in his dream to get home. It’ll run you 800 Microsoft Points. Queue it up here.

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space is better known as the second season of the epic duo. This time, their going from the North Pole to Easter, from out space to Hell and back.
