Update: Turns out the jobs are for the Big Huge Games studio who are working on turning Ascendant into a single-player console RPG that takes place within the Copernicus universe. Thanks, Kotaku.

Original Story: 38 Studios, who most recently bought out Big Huge Games, are hard at work on an MMOG named Copernicus. It may arrive on PlayStation 3, apparently. Unless this new job listing is referring to a completely new game.

The studio has put up job listings searching for a Senior PS3 Programmer and a Lead Art Director to work on an RPG for the console. They offer the jobs as a “chance to be part of video gaming history!” The team applicants will join include “the creative visionaries behind Oblivion and Rise of Nations, as well as Drizzt Do’Urden and Spawn.”
