The latest issue of Famitsu fully unveiled Yakuza 4, set for a Japanese release in 2010. Upon first notice, it may look a bit familiar. Actually, a lot like Yakuza 3. I wasn’t sure if I was looking at Yakuza 4 when I saw these scans, but apparently that’s the game.

Yakuza 4 brings a three-dimensional feel to the game, allowing you to jump across rooftops and travel underground. A new weather system will be in order, where weather actually changes now. Panchinko slots have made a return and karaoke has been improved to include duets. Hotsprings and pingpong is now available during dates.

The fourth game will not just have one main character, but three others next to Kiryu. All four stories merge together into one.
