Uncharted 2 public demo dated for late this month
Sony has finally announced when public gamers will be able to get their hands on a demo of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. As you know, there’s already been countless opportunities for gamers to get an early shot, but come the end of the month, all gamers will be able to try out this fantastic sequel.
On September 29th, a multiplayer demo of Uncharted 2 will be released on the PlayStation Store. This demo will be different from the closed beta demo that’s already been released, although we’re unsure if it’s different from the GameStop demo.

When it says a “multiplayer demo”, does this mean a demo of the Single Player with MP/Co-Op support, or a demo of the Multiplayer only?
It’s just that I am completely uninterested in the Multiplayer and only want to the expereince the “main” game.
From what I understand its simply multiplayer… I remember a little while back ND said there would be no single player demo… Like you I am only interested in the single player…
I was in the multiplayer demo and while it was fun all I could think about was playing the single player campaign. Because ND did such a great job with the story the first time around I’m more interested in what wackiness our hero Drake will get himself involved in this time around. Will Drake do some tomb raiding of his own in either of the female leads’ pants or will he be too busy dodging bullets and holding onto ledges with his fingertips?
The beta was just okay in my book. Graphics were, as you’d expect, spot on but similar to how I feel about multiplayer in both MGS4 and RE5, I just don’t enjoy them as much as an FPS and yet I prefer third-person games over FPS games (go figure).
Anyway, as FFGirl pointed out, ND already mentioned that there wouldn’t be a single player demo and maybe that’s for the better. The story may be too good and too intricate for only a taste.
