Uncharted 2 gameplay will knock you off a train
Remember that teaser trailer.. wait, no. Remember what the box art to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves looks like? That ain’t all for show, folks. You’ll play that in-game. You see Nathan Drake grasping for his life on the end of a train falling off an arctic cliff? You’ll be the one to save him.
Hot damn, it looks good. What’s more impressive than the scene itself is what’s happening as Nathan climbs the train. The crumbling pieces and falling parts. It’s quite astonishing.

U2 seems far better than the first one… Trailers amazing though I didnt watch it all because it will be out in a few weeks.
Eat your heart out Bruce Willis. I remember one of the ND developers saying that they beat the hell out of Nathan this time and they weren’t kidding. I had to stop the first movie because I felt that I’d already seen too much but you’re right, the amount of flying debris and stuff happening around him is truly amazing.
I love the subtle animation they put in there too like when Drake covers his face when he gets close to fire, the slow, sloshing movement as he trudges through the snow and how he slowly pulls himself over a ledge he’s just climbed. Those little details go a long way in immersing the player into the game.
May sound corny but I believe it. With the camera placement and all the grunting and jumping being done by Drake I feel like I’m doing everything Drake’s doing. I’d say ND did they’re job if they can make the player care and connect with Drake’s onscreen actions.
Now this game is next gen, this is the sort of stuff we want to see on these powerful consoles. I’ve been playing the Beta and the CO-OP mode is brillient. Naughty Dog really knows how to make an epic game.
