TGS ’09: Natal support not coming to older Xbox 360 games
Feeling like playing a bit of Halo as a Spartan, yourself? How about some Crackdown while running around your living room? Not happening, according to Microsoft’s Kudo Tsunoda.
While games like Beautiful Katamari and Space Invaders Extreme were effictively implemented with Natal controls, most older games don’t follow the same story. Tsunoda told JoyStiq that it’s very hard to implement Natal controls into older titles and it’s not an easily patchable process since lage sections of code need to be changed.
The best bet for a patch would be a re-release of a game with Natal controls implemented.
