Street Fighter IV ‘sequel’ in development

A new update on Japan’s Street Fighter IV blog confirms that a sequel to the February 2009-released fighter is “coming soon.”

I’m guessing it’s not going to be Street Fighter V, considering Street Fighter IV came out just this year, but instead Street Fighter IV: Championship Edition or even Street Fighter IV: Alpha.

I can’t be too sure; nobody can at this moment. Tokyo Game Show would be a nice place for the announcement to go down. Stay tuned.
