Sony to announce new games at TGS

Sony Computer Entertainmet Japan boss Shawn Laydon has confirmed to Famitsu that come this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sony will announce some new games for the PlayStation 3.
During the Japanese PS3 slim model launch, the SCEJ head honcho confirmed this.
“From here on out, we will increase the software lineup. New titles will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2009,” said the SCEJ boss.

Wow. Sony finally kicking it into high gear in the software department. Maybe that’ll keep the nay sayers from trashing the PS3 in the exclusive games department.
Although what they really need is to work on is improving PSN. They should throw a few million bucks at going feature-for-feature against XBL and add their own flavor. The other idea is to make Home an OnLive-like service so you don’t have to wait for it to boot up or load anything.
OnLive sounds crazy enough but since Home doesn’t require precise movements a little lag in moving your character from room to room would hardly be an issue.
Oh well, looking forward to what they have ready for TGS.
