PS3 Greatest Hits box art gets a redesign, too
PlayStation 3′s new box art design doesn’t come without a new look for the Greatest Hits cases, as well. The Greatest Hits boxes are getting a sexier, smoother new look, instead of cluttering the box with a Greatest Hits mentioning up as well as a PS3 logo on the side, it adds them both in one.
Above, see the box art for Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition, hitting stores September 28th for $29.99. This will include the downloadable content released for the game after it’s original release.

That’s it. Now ALL console art boxes have the title along the top. I guess it took Sony to fail epically to find the error in their ways. Personally, I think the box is still a bit too big considering it’s the same size as the Xbox 360 box but working with an inch or so less of space because of the smaller size of Blu-ray boxes over DVD boxes.
Still, nice to see Sony taking the new look logo and style and applying to everything.
Personally, I think it looks a lot nicer.
