PS3 Firmware 3.0 Q&A coming tomorrow
On the European PlayStation.Blog, Sony’s Jem Alexander confirmed that a question and answer segment regarding firmware 3.0 will be happening tomorrow in response to a question asking whether or not a firmware v3.01 is coming this week.
“Don’t worry,” assures Alexander. “The Q&A is coming tomorrow. We’ve been trying to get accurate responses to as many of your questions as possible.”
Sounds very decent of them. Hopefully a nice Q&A can be done rather than an angry shit storm like the blog comments when the firmware released.

This is so backwards. Why do a Q&A session after the fact. Seems like you’d want to do a Q&A and release a new update based on what the fans are actually asking for.
And they don’t have to deliver everything in one update but a few things based on fan based reaction would be nice.
I just feel like Sony is doing everything backwards when it comes to making the PS3 better and just trying to shoehorn everything based on decisions made by the bean counters, not fans, who actually determine the viability of the system.
