Project Natal demoed on Japanese morning news
Japanese morning news magazine Mezamashi TV gave their viewers an inside look at the Tokyo Game Show before it starts later on tonight. Fuji TV announcer Yoko Shono meets up with Kudo Tsunoda to play some Ricochet with Microsoft’s hands-free Project Natal, which was announced at E3 back in June.

There are eyetoy demos like this for the PS2 (and PS3)… I am not sure why they are choosing this to show off Natal. It’s supposed to be able to measure depth, recognize facial expressions etc. IMO they need a better demo to show off what Natal is capable of. So far I haven’t seen anything that other technologies haven’t already shown capable of doing already…
