PlayStation 3 firmware v3.01 now live
Update: Seems to improve nothing in the “what firmware v3.0 messed up” category. I’m not sure whether or not it fixed Uncharted. However, since there’s no noticable cosmetic changes, I think it’s safe to assume this update is a fix for the game.
Original Story: We’ve just gotten word that PlayStation 3 firmware version 3.01 is now live on the PlayStation Newt work. Very sudden and unexpected. It’s an optional update. I’m guessing it fixes issues had with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune that firmware v3.0 caused. We’ll have more on what it does soon.

I dislike the user box, but it’s an opinion. Nothing was “messed up” other than the Uncharted bug.
