NCsoft Europe MD Véronique Lallier has told VG247 that the publisher’s E3 2007-announced PlayStation 3 MOG has been canned. This one one of the few announcements made on stage by Jack Tretton on stage, alongside the PSP-3000 announcement.

“We did an announcement a few years ago about signing a contract with Sony, and actually, to be honest, we didn’t put anything into the market,” Lallier said, speaking at the publisher’s UK, Brighton office yesterday.

“We are not working on anything at the moment. The project we were working on was casual gaming, actually; not something we continued, unfortunately.”

Lallier said that console games are still part of NCsoft’s “strategy, but nothing in the pipeline.”

Shame to hear. I was looking forward to a console game from NCsoft.
