Final Fantasy XIII’s heavy marketing begins

Japan is getting ready for the most anticipated role-playing game of this generation to release at Japanese retailers this Christmas. Final Fantasy XIII ads, posters and banners are being placed everywhere. This all comes a day after Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIII would launch on December 17, 2009 in Japan and that a PS3 bundle is also in store.
Too bad the United States isn’t as game-oriented as Japan. I would love to see Lightning plastered all over stores, seriously.
Thanks, UFF.

I love how Japan doesn’t shun big game advertising like this. In the UK were lucky to even see a game advertised on TV, its pretty horrible.
urgh I wish I could speak Japanese, then I could just import the JP version in December for the best Xmas ever!
I wonder if there’s a GOOD iPhone app that will teach me basic Japanese fast. =P
Yeah, I wish we’d see that kind of advertising EVERYWHERE!
I loved the ff13 stairs at E3….
