Famitsu predicts one million sales for first week of Final Fantasy XIII

Famitu’s latest sales prediction may strike you as an obvious statement. According to them, come launch week of Final Fantasy XIII, about one million copies will be sold throughout the week.

Final Fantasy is probably Japan’s most popular gaming franchise, so their prediction is very understandable. The game launches on December 17, 2009 for PS3 in Japan and in Spring 2010 for both PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America.

    Hardly surprising, I can see it breaking a lot of sales records, especially in Japan. I just hope the NA and EU numbers are equally as high.
