At first I wasn’t all that jazzed about the new “PS3″ font but it’s starting to grow on me. Definitely like the revised box art. The previous design was just plain sloppy. Too much going on and just looked slapped together. I think the PS3 is getting its second wind and, one can only hope, that it’ll mean a chance for Sony to start getting back into this race. I still think MS is the winner of this generation if for no other reason than being able to take some steam out of Sony’s pipe by being the lead console for nearly every game and sustaining their lead when it comes to online services. Sony has no choice but to follow in Microsoft’s footsteps and hope that MS makes a mistake (although I’d say having a system with a 30% failure rate would be mistake enough but apparently it takes more than a few broken systems to stop gamers).
