Final Fantasy XIV will have a monthy subscription model when the games releases in 2010. This is according to the game’s producer, Hiromichi Tanaka.
“It’s going to be 30 days-based subscription,” Tanaka told VG247 at GamesCom earlier this month.
This is no surprise, as most big online games these days have some sort of monthly subscription you have to pay if you want to play the game.
Final Fantasy XIV is out on PS3 and PC next year. An Xbox 360 version will most likely launch sometime later on.
