A retail version of the PlayStation Network version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is coming to PlayStation 3. It’s been confirmed by a Capcom-Unity moderator and an image of the box art has been posted on Capcom-Unity’s white board. This retail version won’t actually come with a disc, it will instead come with a redemption code.

A while back, a listing for a PlayStation 3 retail version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 appeared on GameStop.com. It’s since been pulled, but according to the listing, the retail bundle will also come with a DVD full of artwork, an eight-page manual with a moves list, a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics, and 200 Capcom-Unity points. It was listed for $20.

The package is exclusive to GameStop, and according to another Capcom-Unity moderator, GameStop will be selling it for $14.99 rather than $20.

Thanks, Destructoid.
