MAG Dated for January 2010
Here goes another “originally-planned for Fall 2009″ game that’s been delayed. Sony’s announced the official release date for their upcoming 256-player online shooter, MAG. On January 26, 2010, you’ll be able to hop to purchase MAG and hop online to play in 256-player (hopefully) lag-free action. Zipper Interactive, your favorite SOCOM developers, are making the title.
The Shadow War is on the way. Too bad it’s farther than we thought, though.

I don’t mind the wait since it gives Zipper more time to polish the game and test out as many bugs as possible before it hits the masses.
I wonder though, will Sony push this through the PSN Store or release it on Blu-ray? Either way I’m pretty sure I’ll get it.
I didn’t think it looked very impressive from the E3 showing. But when I think about it, 256 MP IS very impressive if pulled off correctly. Still, something about it just feels like its “not for me”.
