Kitase: Final Fantasy XIII DLC would expand gameplay, not story

Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase has said that they’re currently looking at possible downloadable content on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE for the Spring 2010 RPG, however, saying that if they were to release extra content it would only expand gameplay, rather than story.
“We are exploring the option of downloadable content, perhaps adding new areas, items or enemies, but these would not be expansions to the story, only the gameplay. The entire story of FF13 will be on the disc,” according to Kitase.
Previously, the publisher has said that there would be no downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII. Looks like you can get your hopes up.
