BioWare seems to be very iffy about denying the possibility of a PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect. At GamesCom last week, CVG repeatedly questioned BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka about whether or not a PlayStation 3 version of the the epic space RPG could ever become a reality.

“I think a more accurate way to frame it is to say we’ve announced we’re developing Mass Effect for 360 and PC.” Muzyka said. “Right from the beginning we said we wanted to deliver Mass Effect on the 360. Right now all we’ve announced is we’re working on 360 and PC.”

So is it coming to PlayStation 3 then? “We haven’t announced anything on that front,” said Muzyka. Is it out of the question? “We haven’t announced anything on that,” he repeated.

PlayStation 3 owners, you can get your hopes down when BioWare says a definite ‘no’, but saying that “we haven’t announced anything” always ends up resulting in something good.
