Alan Wake is ‘done’ and in polishing stages, says Remedy

Remedy Entertainment Managing Director Matias Myllyrinne has confirmed to JoyStiq that Alan Wake has finished development and is currently just being polished so it looks its best when it releases next Spring. Myllyrinne has said that “It’s all done, we’re just polishing at this point.”

Alan Wake releases on Xbox 360 in Spring 2010. That’s seems like a lot of time to polish the game. It should sparkle.

    I love it when a developer takes their time and truly polishes a game. Nothing is more aggravating than a rushed and subsequently buggy release.

    I think Alan Wake looks brilliant, I really do. I have been following it since it was first announced I think in 2005, and I have always been excited to see/hear new info on it. Roll on release!
