Remedy Entertainment to show “triple-A” PS3 Game at GDC Europe [Update: False]
Update: Apparently, this Frank Sliwka guy who did the interview with GI.biz got things a bit messed up. Remedy has confirmed that they “are not developing a PS3 game at this point” and that the only keynote they’ll be giving at GDC Europe is “From Max Payne to Alan Wake: Creating Intellectual Properties the Remedy Way“.
Original:A new interview with Frank Sliwka, VP of European business development at Think Service, discussed the upcoming GDC Europe show, one of the three summer shows for gamers next to Games Convention Online (Leipzig) and Gamescom (Cologne). Remedy Entertainment will be on stage at GDC Europe to discuss “PlayStation Development”.
“We have four session tracks – business, programming and so on.” Silwka said. “The main thing is that we want to give the world an overview of what’s happening in Europe. That means we have two big keynotes – Remedy, on PlayStation development, will be showing a triple-A game, Peter Molyneux will be the second one.”
As of yet, Remedy hasn’t released any games on PlayStation 3. It sounds like they’re hard at work on a game right now, though. They’re currently developing Alan Wake for Xbox 360.
