In a PlayStation.Blog post celebrating one million user levels created in LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule slipped in a sneaky comment regarding a possible new announcement from the developer not too far off.

“Oh, and one last thing before I’m off to play some of these great user-generated creations on PlayStation Network: check back on this blog around the 18th of August. The folks at Media Molecule might have something interesting to tell you about then…”

If you’re not aware, August 18th is the exact same date as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s three-hour long GamesCom conference. I’m pretty sure Media Molecule is aware of this and are preparing their announcement for the conference. It’s just a matter of time now.
