Kaz Hirai Confirmed for TGS Keynote
Kaz Hirai, Chairman and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, has been confirmed to be giving a keynote during this year’s Tokyo Game show.
The keynote is titled “New Tactics for 2009″ and will go down on September 24th at 10:30am. A panel discussion about tactics and strategies for global game makers will occur during the show, too. Executives from Capcom, Sony, Namco Bandai, and Square Enix will be at the panel.
The Tokyo Game Show runs from September 24th to September 27th this year at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, Japan. We’ll see you in two months.

Im hoping some awesome games are announced(preferably jrpg). Two games I want see new trailers for is Versus XIII and Birth by Sleep. I want see FFXIII and End of Eternity get release dates.

The more the merrier as long as its good. SE track record so far this gen isnt good. The Last Remnant had potential but failed. Infinite Undiscovery isnt the worst but certainly not the best. Like I said in the forum the best I’ve played so far is Lost Odyssey.
SE hasn’t put out one game I’ve enjoyed this gen (not counting remakes). The FFs will be amazing though. And IU was terrible
There will definitely be at least one JRPG announced. There’s got to. I’m hoping for at least five or six new games, but I guess I’m just a bit mad from the lack of JRPGs lately… well, good ones that is.
Can’t wait for a new Versus XIII trailer. Maybe we’ll finally see gameplay and a solid release date.
I guarantee 3 jrpgs. For sure a new versus trailer. Remember year 4 is the break out year I’m pumped
