Microsoft has announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that this fall a new destination for all things Halo will launch on Xbox LIVE.

Halo Waypoint, as it’s being called, is a digital destination for Halo fans across Xbox LIVE that will provide news, updates, activities, podcasts, trailers, screenshots and exclusive video footage to Xbox LIVE members. It will also bring a career system and player rankings that are tied to in and out of game accomplishments related to Halo.

Halo Waypoint will also bring forth a preview of the recently announced Halo Legends anime series as well as behind-the-scenes video detailing the making of the series come its launch this fall.
