Bethesda Softworks has released the first details on the upcoming ‘Mothership Zeta’ expansion for Fallout 3, which will be the last of announced downloadable content for the game.

In ‘Mothership Zeta’, players must defy hostile alien abductors and fight their way off of the Mothership Zeta, a massive ship orbiting Earth miles above Washington, D.C. On top of that, it brings players into space in a desperate attempt to escape the Aliens.New weapons will be used to escape these extra terristreals such as the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon. New outfits include the Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor.

The content will hit the Xbox 360 and PC on August 8, 2009 with a PlayStation 3 release after the current Fallout 3 dowloadable content has been released on the console.
