The official firmware update for version 2.80 is now live on the PlayStation Network to download. To get it, simply power on your PlayStation 3′s, go to Settings, scroll to System Update and download the latest there.

Firmware v2.80 only improves playback quality of some PlayStation 3 software as far as we know. If we discover anything else new, we’ll let you know.
