Yukari Fukui, the voice actress playing Vanille in the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII, has confirmed on her personal blog that the voice overs have been completed for the upcoming Square Enix RPG.
According to Fukui, the script of the anticipated game took a year to record, but the dub is finally finished meaning that all of the story elements are down and done with. Now, Square Enix translators can start doing their job of translating the game for Western localization. This has already begun, since we’ve seen English gameplay and trailers at E3 2009 during the Sony and Microsoft conferences.
Final Fantasy XIII should see release before 2009’s end in Japan while it will hit in North America in Spring 2010.
