E3 ’09: Watch Sony’s PS3 Motion Control in Action

During Sony’s E3 conference, the company revealed a new PlayStation 3 motion controller to work with the PlayStation Eye. The prototype controller’s final look will change, but it currently features a variety of buttons and a sphere at the tip that the PlayStation Eye can track.

The motion camera will allow you to control game elements such as movement, shooting, fighting, etc. First-person shooter mode is demonstrated in the demo, as well as sword and shield fighting, archery, and even drawing.
