E3 ’09: Sony Officially Announces PSP Go

Kaz Hirai has just stepped on stage and announced the PSP GO. The GO features a 16GB of internal flash memory, integrated wi-fi, integrated bluetooth technology, a 3.8 inch screen and is nearly fifty percent lighter than the PSP-3000.

The PSP GO will not replace the PSP-3000 as they will remain on the market together for those who live a digital life or for those who would rather purchase a physical product. The PSP GO will launch in North America and in Europe for $249.99 on October 1, 2009, followed by a November 1, 2009 release in Japan.
