Valve has unleashed details on the recently revealed Left 4 Dead 2 for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game will feature new melee combat options such as the chainsaw shown in the trailer, a frying pan, axe, baseball bat, and additional untraditional weapons. A.I. Director 2.0 is also in the game, increasing the number of zombies delivered, adding additional weather effects, world objects and pathways provided to players.

Left 4 Dead 2 will also feature new cooperative campaigns, versus campaigns and survival maps when it releases on November 17, 2009.
