E3 ’09: Kojima Announces Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for PS3 and 360

Hideo Kojima has just announced at the Konami E3 press conference that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 under his development at Kojima Productions as well as at Spanish studio Mercury Steam. After the trailer, he asked the crowd if we “liked it”. The crowd cheered.

The game features a “rich, open game world” about a hero who goes to “the edge of darkness and beyond” searching for salvation. More of the game is expected to be shown in the “very near future”. It’s due to hit in 2010.
