Backbreaker Looking to be a Madden Competitor

Madden has been really the only football game on the market lately. Their only real competitor that I can remember was the NFL 2K games which sadly ended with NFL 2K5. However, in comes a new competitor. Backbreaker, in development at Naturalmotion, has been known about since 2007 but wasn’t until just recently that the game was given a trailer that actually featured a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 logo at the end of it.

The game doesn’t feature any NFL teams, due to EA owning the license, but has advanced team customization to build your own. It’s 11 vs. 11 pro football combined with some amazing tackles. Check out the new screens at the gallery. Read on for a trailer.
