In Namco Bandai’s financial report for their fiscal 2008-2009, they revealed the amount of money earned from games on a console by console basis. The financial report also reveals that the Xbox 360 was their poorest performing system of that fiscal.
The Xbox 360 sold 2.704 million units of software while the PlayStation 3 sold 3.273 million units. Now the PlayStation 3 didn’t do so great either, with the Wii toppling them at 4.671 million units of software sold. It seems Namco Bandai’s having trouble with the high-definition systems.
