Eidos Montreal has officially popped the lid off the imminent Thief 4 today, launching the official teaser site with only a link to the game’s discussion forum. The Eidos Montreal website has been updated to include Thief 4 in all their necessary pages, with the Games page having a small quote from one of the developers on the game.

“We’re in the early development stages for Thief 4,” Stephane D’Astous, General Manager of Eidos Montreal said “but this is an incredibly ambitious project and a very exciting one. It’s too early for us to offer any specific game details, right now we are focused on recruiting the very best talent to join the core team at the studio and help us make, what we believe will be one of the most exciting games on the market.”

As of now, no platforms have been announced for Thief 4, but if we were to guess we’d go with PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
