Over at the Mistwalker Corp. blog, the latest update reveals Hironobu Sakaguchi is working on a new game project. Apparently, he make Legos when he’s troubled with something, and he’s currently troubled with the graphic settings for his next game project.

Sakaguchi writes that the game will be mixed with “a spectacle of CG scenes.” The controls in the game “will have a bit of a trick to it” and the game will have “a blend of RPG-type strategy and growth” where behaviors are based on interaction with the situation around you.

He confirms that the game will be revealed sometime this year, where he’ll be able to show us model artwork, behind the scenes stories, and staff introductions. Mistwalker’s putting their “heart and soul” into this one.
