EA Redwood Shores Studio, their longest running studio to date, has announced on their new official website today that they’re changing their name to Visceral Games. Redwood Shores are known for the critically-acclaimed Dead Space and the upcoming Dante’s Inferno.

Fans of Redwood should not worry, because the studio is not “abandoning [their] past but embracing the future”. They’re set to deliver the same “quality, innvation and polish of Dead Space.”

The official site for Visceral Games has launched, currently under construction. However, when it opens it will be highly community-based, as Visceral says their “goal with this web site is to reach out and create a two way dialogue with [their] community and fans.”
