Sony may have shot down these rumors before, but that was the past and this is now. On Chinese forum, LevelUp, a user has posted these images of a supposed slimmer PlayStation 3.
The one thing that can convince you that the PlayStation 3 slim is real is the box. The box looks very good, and even shows a shortage of the name and a change of font, going from PlayStation 3 to PS3 such as the PlayStation did with PSone. However, the other pictures make the slim version look like a piece of plastic.
The fact that the first “leaked” pictures are blurry also adds doubt to whether or not this is real. If it matters though, this is supposed to have two USB slots, an 120GB hard-drive, and of course the new letter type.
Personally, I think it looks like a Chinese knockoff and would be absolute crap to release if it were true, which it probably isn’t.
