3D Realms Bid Farewell, Duke Nukem Level Shots Release

3D Realms community manager Joe Siegler has updated the 3D Realms official website for the last time with a picture of the staff and a short message reading “Thanks for being fans and for all your support.” The news broke of the studio’s shutdown yesterday, after twelves years of development on the much-delayed Duke Nukem Forever. Now it appears fans will never get a taste of the game.

However, as probably the last Duke Nukem Forever media you’ll see, 3DR art director Tramell Isaac and concept artist Layne Johnson have released images of level designs and concept art for the game.

Warning: there will be boobies. Check out the set of assets at the gallery.
