Sega’s classic Shinboi looks like it’s going to be making its way to the Xbox LIVE Arcade, according to a recent ESRB rating.

It’s either a remake of the original Shinobi or a whole new next-gen Shinobi, but we’ll be sticking with the remake, since a next-gen game would have been announced before the ESRB rating. On top of that, the ESRB has provided a description of the game.

This is an arcade-style action game in which players control a ninja who frees hostages and fights members of a criminal organization. Players traverse through various platforms and attack enemies by throwing shuriken stars, using special moves, and slashing thugs with a katana sword. Some enemies carry pistols and knives or use bazookas to defeat the player. During a brief bonus round, players view the action from a first-person perspective as they quickly throw shuriken stars at incoming ninjas.
