One of the coolest apps for iPhone has just been released over the iTunes Store concerning your PlayStation 3 trophies. iTrophies allows you to view your trophy data on the go from your gamercard to the games you’ve played and trophies you’ve unlocked. The coolest thing about this is each trophy has a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to unlock that trophy.

The downside, for us in the US, is that this was created for EU PlayStation Network accounts. So, if you have a Non-EU Playstation Account you must sign in at the European PlayStation site and click on “No” when asked if you would like to merge an existing account. Then just set up your gamercard and you’re good to go.

The app is currently available on the iTunes Store for $1.99. Get it here (link will launch iTunes).

My wife has an iPhone but I doubt she’ll let me install this app on her phone.

While this feature is cool I’m still upset that Sony doesn’t allows to remove games from your list of trophies. I rented Prince of Persia and earn a few trophies but I don’t intend on renting or buying the game but in the meantime the few trophies I’ve earned are affecting my overall trophy average, which sucks.

I love the trophy feature but not being able to control this small but very important factor of trophy management is just plain stupid in my book.
