Sexy indeed. Let’s just go through a quick recap of what’s new. We’ve added a sub-navigation bar (blue) under the main navigation where you can access our articles, reviews, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 news, etc. We’ve changed our home page post display to a more condensed view in order to reduce loading time and still look sexy. There’s now 12 posts on every page as well instead of the usual ten.
We’ve also put an advertisement under the main logo and top stories. It blends in so you reader’s will barley even notice it. You’ll also see a mini-ad for our upcoming community playdate on Xbox LIVE up there as well.
Regarding our gallery, we’ve condensed the albums as well since we’re adding more and more games every day and with the previous two per row, the page was just too long.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy the improvements. Our next thing we’re looking into is giving you the option to chose between a condensed and expanded view. I’m still trying to figure out how I can do that. Other than that though, are there any other features you guys would like to see on SCRAWL?

it might just be me but i like the big pictures, so which is y i prefer the old look a lil but i can say for sure is that i liked the old blue and white for onaxis instead of this black and blue scrawl
Good upgrade. Maybe include reader reviews and more involvement with readers like more online battles with the scrawl writing team like the TF2 one happening soon. We should do Killzone 2 if enough people have it.
I agree with o41971 a little in that the big pics were kind of nice but I don’t mind the smaller pics either.
It makes the site look clean and organized and it does help the page load faster. But I still can’t figure out why it takes so long for the comments to save. I think it takes an average of 30 to 45 seconds for the comments to be stored. I normally type a comment then browse to another site (on another tab of course) then come back after the loading wheel on the tab stops spinning.
It’s pretty clear that it’s taking some visual queues from Kotaku but that’s okay. The sincerest form of flattery is imitation so I’m sure they don’t mind.
Keep up the great work.
Like incredibilistic says, it takes 30 to 45 seconds to save a comment, but I think it’s actually done after just a second or two. I’m on a MacBook so I thought it was just me. Glad to hear it is not.
Nice work on the site. I made some comments in some earlier topics suggesting a few minor tweaks, but other than that no complains.
Oh, I like the smaller pics myself.
Much better guys. I like the clean up on the comment graphic, and the horizontal line removal. I’d have to say it is pretty much perfect. Excellent work!
