This “watch out for…” preview seems kind of, well, stupid. We’ll all find out what’s coming in like 24 hours. Why even bother building up hype unless you have something to talk about? Hype just fires up message boards with unrealistic expectations that usually lead to nothing even close to what people are dreaming up.

If anything MS needs to address the fact that the 360 has yet another error plaguing gamers: E74. Instead of the 3 RROD you only get 1 ring. And this new error doesn’t fall under the RROD warranty so if the error bricks your system you’ll either have to pay a Benjamin to get it fixed or buy a new one in the hopes that it doesn’t brick with the same error code.

From what I’ve read the error code has been popping up more often since the release of the NXE.

Having said that, MS has yet to really disappoint in the surprises department so whatever it is should be good if history is any indicator. Let’s just hope it’s a better announcement than Lips or that game where you capture live footage to make your own movie. Anybody buy that game? Probably not.
