GDC ’09: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 To Have Online Co-Op, New Screens
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a remake of Ninja Gaiden II, of course. The remake has to have extra features, however. Or else, what’d be the point?
Sigma 2‘s big new feature is online cooperative player over the PlayStation Network. Players can choose from Ryu, Ayane or Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword’s Momiji (DS) and play through the story alongside each other.
As for Rachel, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 producer Yosuke Hayashi says “Maybe you’ll see her. She’s a very important part of Team Ninja…”
