At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Shadow of the Colossus developer Fumito Ueda, No More Heroes creator Suda 51, and Fallout 3 developer Emil Pagliarulo sat down and spoke out on their upcoming projects.

Fumito Ueda told the audience that their upcoming game “might be something similar to what’s been done”, describing it as “middleground”. Ueda stressed saying it “probably will be similar to the past” and that the game is “rather close to ICO” in regards to the essence of the title.

Shinji Mikami, director of Resident Evil 4, was revealed to be heading a horror game. We thank Suda 51 for that info.

Finally, Fallout 3 developer Emil Pagliarulo has stated that right now, Bethesda is working on some more downlaodable content for the game as well as “brewing up” some stuff for the next Fallout. He asks “What famous landmarks can we destroy? What landmarks in Japan can we destroy?” After the crowd laughed, and Pagliarulo says “I just realized how stupid it was of me to say that.” Will Fallout 4 take place in Japan? We can only hope.
