Final Fantasy XIII to use 100% of PlayStation 3′s Power
In the latest Dengeki, a new interview with Final Fantasy XIII producer, Kitase, he’s stated that The demo of Final Fantasy XIII will utilize around 50% of PS3′s capability, whereas the full version will utilize close to 100%”. He related it to how they used the full power of the PSone with Final Fantasy VII and the full power of the PS2 with Final Fantasy X.
He also spoke Blu-ray, “there isn’t really a problem with storage space. However, the PlaySTation 3 also has a hard drive. Depends on which one you are talking about, but there’s still some work to be done on the memory side of things.”
So does this mean it’s using 100% of the Xbox 360′s power as well?

Dude, come on. This is absolute bullcrap of a statement. If the ps3 is technically more powerful cpu wise with the cells and everything and its maxed at 100% then the 360 version would have to be dumbed down. Thats the truth of the matter. That or they are inefficiently coding the game for the ps3. No other excuse for that.
Also FFVII and FFX were not the best looking games on their respective platforms for the series so this makes the statement even more ridiculous.
I highly doubt that FFXIII, even though it will be good, will be the best and most powerful game on the ps3.

Honestly I disagree.
Yes FFVII and X were not the best looking, but was that what they honestly focused on?
These games had gameplay that would for hours upon days some times months and this all benefited in earning their titles as best rpgs.. ever?

As for the process of it being placed on the 360.. it most likely will be dumbed down. I wont disagree, but its square? So I am imagining it will be a multiple disk game. MGS4 would have ended up what, 5 disks? So we will wait and see.
and he stated close to 100%.. so I agree.. no this will not be the best most powerful game.. but people will still buy it..we all know JRPG’s sell….. especially squares. I have no doubt in my mind this game will be both beautiful in visuals and gameplay.
