Toriyama: “Final Fantasy XIII Development Going Favorably For 2009 Launch”

The latest issue of Famitsu gaming magazine in Japan reveals more information about the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII demo bundled with Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete. Game director Motomu Toriyama and assistant character designer Nao Ikeda confirm that the demo lasts over an hour, but was created for replayability. Snow Villers is not in the demo.

Toriyama was asked whether or not the delay for Dragon Quest IX would affect Final Fantasy XIII. He replied, “Final Fantasy XIII Development is going favorably for a 2009 launch.”
