Rare, the developer behind designing the Avatars for your Xbox 360, has stated that soon games will award gamers with items of clothing the same way they are awarded with achievements.

“In time… games will be able to give away clothes and accessories just like Achievements,” said art head Lee Musgrave.

However, Rare was unable to say which games in specific will use Avatars like this.

“We are currently working with multiple partners who have expressed interest in using Avatars,” added producer Stacey Law.

Right now, Avatars still have clothing from launch as well as the free packs released every now and then, but a little more variety and self-earned game-related content wouldn’t hurt.
